I know this video is a little old but it is still impressive and terrifying. Travis Pastrana climbing 4,535 feet up Mt Washington in 6:20. Some of those roads are pretty narrow and really drop off with nothing to stop you.

I wanna drive up Mount Washington.

It is a public road......and loads of peopel do it.

I'm hoping this summer we can organize a New England Oppo Cruise up the Kanc and maybe to Mt washington depending.

I really hope to be at the Climb to the Clouds this Year. I believe all the actual racing is on the June 29th (Sunday). I was also thinking a New England Oppo meet would be awesome although I was thinking Blue Hills (in addition to Mt W) cuz its way closer to my house.

And yheah, Leominster isn't far from me, I'm in Rochester to be exact, so its a little over an hour or so depending how you drive.

Well-its not public—it IS open to the (paying) public to drive up. And there is only one road.

You want to have an Oppo meeting-do it June 26-29th. The weekend of the hillclimb. Fri + Sat are pratice days-we run in the morning-the road is open to the general public in the afternoon. Not only will get to see at least one Jalop race (me!-Dusty Ventures-you entered?) You'll see a Rally America round of 20 cars-including David Higgins + Travis Pastrana-and 50 other race cars.

I don' think there is camping on the grounds except for racers + workers (BTW—be a worker!) but there is a state park a couple of miles away. Dollycop ? is the name.

I don't know him, but yeah my friend got his from a kind of sketchy guy, and the motor had been replaced at one point, but it did come with an extra supercharger! They are cool cars, but his was definitely Certified Pre-Hooned.

12 July is apparently a bike race up to the top. Hill climb nonetheless just not the good one. I love riding mountain bikes but god up mt Washington? no thank you that'll be boring to watch

Blue hills is just south of Boston. There is a nice twisting road that goes through there and a couple picnic area where you can see Boston. There is also the Blue Hills Brewery which I think does tours but definitely has awesome beer. The Hill climb has a website climbtotheclouds.com
